Chicago-based Mansur & Co., a private real estate investment firm, has acquired the Fashion Mall Complex in Plantation, Fla., which includes a Sheraton Suites Hotel and Lord & Taylor and Macy’s stores, for $68 million. The mall, completed in 1988, was sold by the Simon Management Group and other investors. In another transaction, First Industrial Realty Trust of Chicago has expanded into the Phoenix market with a $45 million purchase of six light-industrial, office/showroom and warehouse properties from Opus Estates LLC and Opus West Corp.
