So Michael Jordan thinks the NBA and the Warriors overreacted to Latrell Sprewell’s assault on his boss last week.

Well, maybe Michael will put in a good word for me too. I don’t like my boss either, so last week, after he yelled at me, I choked him, took a swing at him and threatened to kill him.

Like “Spree,” I got fired, but I too think the company overreacted. You see, I work 40 hours a week and have a wife, three kids and a mortgage. Unlike “Spree,” though, I don’t make $8 million a year. I don’t know if he can get by on his savings, but I know I can’t.

By the way, I haven’t apologized to my boss, but he hasn’t filed assault charges against me, so I guess that’s good.

Anyway, Michael, how about speaking up on my behalf? I figure if you’d do that for “Spree,” you’d do it for me.
