Robert T. Matthies, 60, a semiretired car dealer from Hinsdale, died Wednesday in Hinsdale Hospital. A lifetime resident of Hinsdale, Mr. Matthies sold cars for various dealers in the west suburbs. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; a son, David; two daughters, Patti Wilk and Kimberley Brouch; a sister; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Schneider Home for Funerals, 21 W. 2nd St., Hinsdale. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Evangelical Covenant Church, 30 E. 4th St., Hinsdale.
