Ruth C. Cardwell, 87, a former personal banker, died Thursday in the DuPage County Convalescent Center in Wheaton. Mrs. Cardwell lived for many years in Ft. Myers., Fla. She moved to Illinois in 1990. She was a singer with several church choirs. Mrs. Cardwell is survived by a son, Robert; two sisters; and two grandchildren. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mark Episcopal Church, 393 N. Main St., Glen Ellyn.
