Abe Abel, 87, died Saturday in Charlotte, N.C.. He was a partner in the firm of Abel & Toplon, a wholesale dress business in Chicago. Mr. Abel was also a longtime member of Congregation Beth Sholom of Rogers Park. Survivors include his wife, Dora; two sons, Robert and Ted; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Weinstein Family Service Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., in Wilmette.
