Gary D. Smith, 60, of Naperville died Monday in Edward Hospital in Naperville. Born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Mr. Smith retired in March 1996 from Sears, Roebuck and Co., where he worked in facilities planning for 32 years. Before moving to Naperville in 1986, he lived in California and before that was a resident of Dallas for 40 years. Survivors include his wife, Kay; two daughters, Dana Dunn and Lisa Coffey; a granddaughter; and a brother. Services will be held in Dallas.
