Robert E. Biester, 63, a 30-year resident of Elmhurst, died Monday in Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. A Chicago native, Mr. Biester worked as an electrical engineer at Fermilab in Batavia. Survivors include his wife, Elaine; two daughters, Pamela Troy and Laura Biester Schram; a brother; and a granddaughter. Prayers will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York Rd., Elmhurst. Mass will follow at 10:45 a.m. in Visitation Catholic Church, 779 S. York Rd., Elmhurst.
