Alfred E. Prislinger, 72, of Des Plaines, died Tuesday in Oakton Pavilion Nursing Home in Des Plaines. Born in Chicago, Mr. Prislinger was a veteran of World War II. He was a retired athletic director of St. Andrew School in Chicago. Survivors include his wife, Dolores; two daughters, Karen Malmedahl and Renee Desormey; a son, Alfred Jr.; a brother; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday in Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Zachary Catholic Church, 567 W. Algonquin Rd., Des Plaines.
