Randy W. Heron, 17, of Arlington Heights, died Thursday in Children’s Memorial Hospital, Chicago. Mr. Heron, who was born in Des Plaines, was a member of the Elk Grove High School cross-country team. Survivors include his parents, Elmer and Mary; his grandmothers, Lucille Little and Doris MacIntyre; four sisters; and three brothers. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Grove Memorial Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove.
