Henry J. Shipinski, 79, of Downers Grove died Thursday in Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. A Chicago native, Mr. Shipinski was an analyst with Western Electric Co. before retiring in 1981. Survivors include his wife, Louise; a son, Kenneth; a daughter, Judith Hougas; two stepdaughters, Denise Szalaz and Lynn Biskupski; two brothers; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main St., Downers Grove. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary of Gostyn Church, Prairie Avenue and Douglas Road, Downers Grove.
