Ruth Sophia Mitchell, 79, of Mt. Prospect died Thursday in Columbus Hospital, Chicago. A native of Arlington Heights, Mrs. Mitchell was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Edward and Thomas; a daughter, Nona; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive St., Arlington Heights.
