Michael Karpa, 82, of Naperville, died Sunday in Tabor Hills Health Care Facility, Naperville. Mr. Karpa was a retired engineer for Western Electric. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Jean Gerken; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd., Naperville.
