Ida Flatow, 88, a retired bookkeeper, died Tuesday in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chicago. Mrs. Flatow, a lifelong Chicago resident, had worked as a bookkeeper in her late husband’s business, J.B. Flatow and Co., a packing company that operated from offices at 6406 N. Claremont Ave. in Chicago. Mrs. Flatow is survived by a son, Edward; a sister; and a brother. Graveside services will be held at noon Friday in Westlawn Cemetery, 7801 W. Montrose Ave., Norridge.
