Ann Cahn, 57, of Glencoe, a teacher of students with special needs and a North Side native, died Tuesday in Evanston Hospital. Ms. Cahn, a graduate of Senn High School, graduated from the University of Wisconsin and taught high school English and history before suspending her career upon the birth of her first child. She later received a master’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University and taught special-needs children, most recently at South School in Glencoe. Ms. Cahn was married from 1962 to 1992 to Kenneth Cahn. Other survivors include two daughters, Stephanie and Linda; and a son, Ross. A memorial service will be held at 9:45 a.m. Sunday in the Winnetka Community House, 620 Lincoln Ave., Winnetka.
