William C. Harsch, 82, of Des Plaines, a retired carpenter, died Tuesday in Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge. Mr. Harsch was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Navy reserves. He was a co-owner of Cornell and Fornell Inc., a custom homebuilding and remodeling company in Des Plaines from the 1960s until 1985. Survivors include his wife, Ingrid; a daughter, Linda Lowery; a sister; two brothers; and three grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday in Acacia Park Lutheran Church, 4307 N. Oriole Ave., Norridge. Services will follow at noon in the church.
