Thomas Diekneit, 84, a retired maintenance engineer for Franklin Park School District 84, died Dec. 20 in Rogers, Ark. Formerly of Chicago, he moved to Arkansas in 1977. Survivors include his wife, Loretta; three sons, Thomas Jr., George and Michael; a daughter, Nancy Nudo; a sister; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services were held Saturday in Rogers.
