Nicolina Monaco, 74, of Crystal Lake died Saturday in St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford. She retired in 1984 from Midwest Transformer, Grayslake. She is survived by two daughters, Nola Powers and JoCarol Jones; a son, Nolan Congine Jr.; a sister; three brothers; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Querhammer Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Mass will be said at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Oak Street and Illinois Highway 176, Crystal Lake.
