Daniel G. Lovekin, 72, of Sandwich, died Sunday in Gulfport, Miss. Mr. Lovekin was formerly employed at the Aurora News Agency as a driver and as a driver for the Peter Wheat Bread Co., Aurora. During the 1970s, he worked in the receiving department of Campana Corp. in Batavia until poor health forced him to retire in 1981. Mr. Lovekin was a member of the 3rd Ward Club and the “Luxie” Club in Aurora. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday in Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
