Friedrich Vann, 64, of McHenry died Monday in Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. He was born in Saaremaa, Estonia. He moved to the United States in 1949 and was an Army veteran. He was a truck driver for TC Transportation for more than 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Loretta; five children, Rick, Lonnie, Sherri Lynn Johnson, Tammy Sue Ellis and Friedrich Lee; eight grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday in George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home, 3519 W. Elm St., McHenry.
