My favorite Tribune Christmas story was “Lower Wacker homeless make a point” (Metro, Dec. 24). The city’s action was obviously a major miscalculation, an overly zealous, mistimed, unfeeling order to haul away the makeshift shelters when the city should have been planning a Christmas feast for the men. Were they unaware that Santa now has a battery of elfin lawyers at his command, as indicated in the report?
