Desire Ferrero, 75, of Algonquin died Saturday in Sherman Hospital in Elgin. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He had been employed as a service representative of office equipment for Harris-Syebold Offset Services. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Algonquin. He is survived by his wife, Jean; three daughters, Marcella Stein, Dianne Bulleri and Mary Kubalewski; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the 10 a.m. mass in St. Margaret Mary Church, 111 S. Hubbard St., Algonquin.
