John T. Lorenz, 64, of Des Plaines, died Friday in Manor Care Nursing Home in Arlington Heights. Born in Chicago, Mr. Lorenz was an assistant buyer for Sears Roebuck and Co. He also was a veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; a son, Paul; two daughters, Diane O’Toole and Patty Clifton; a brother; and two grandchildren. A mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1267 Everett Ave., Des Plaines.
