George A. Kappus, 92, of Elmhurst, a self-employed insurance lawyer, died Tuesday in Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. A native of Chicago, Mr. Kappus was a resident of Elmhurst for more than 50 years. Survivors include a son, Paul; a daughter, Cynthia Benson; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Thursday until the 12 p.m. service in Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Rd., Elmhurst.
