Robert A. Kubicek, 75, of River Forest, died Monday in Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Mr. Kubicek, a native of Oak Park, was vice president of marketing at Lake Shore National Bank and later became senior vice president of marketing for Mid-America Bank. He also served as executive director of the Central Michigan Avenue Association until he retired in 1994. Mr. Kubicek and his wife of 50 years, Patricia Ruth Cooper, were founding editors of the nation’s first television weekly magazine, TV Forecast, which later became part of the TV Guide chain. Besides his wife, survivors include a daughter, Kim E.; a son, Rev. Kirk A.; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in St. James Episcopal Cathedral, 65 E. Huron St., Chicago.
