Ellen Crisham, 90, who emigrated from Ireland to Chicago when she was 16 years old, died Thursday at her son’s home in Dixon, Ill. When Mrs. Crisham came to Chicago, she settled on the South Side and worked for a family in the South Shore neighborhood until she married in 1936, said her son Tom Crisham. She and her husband raised three sons in St. Sabina’s Parish, then later moved to St. Denis’ Parish. Mrs. Crisham had been living in Dixon since November. In addition to her son, Mrs. Crisham is survived by two other sons, Jack and Joe; four sisters; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 4959 W. 79th St., Chicago. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, 6435 S. Kilbourn Ave., Chicago.
