A public forum to air residents’ concerns about mail delivery service will be held this week. U.S. Rep. Jerry Weller (R-Ill.) and a U.S. Postal Service representative are scheduled to attend.
Mokena residents have complained of slow mail service since 1992, when the village’s mail was sent to an automated facility in Frankfort.
