I am so glad to know that as I grow older, I will be exempt more often from responsibility!
If I kill someone while driving due to my fatigue or neglect, it is such a relief to know that I will not be prosecuted simply because I am old!
If I leave 21 horses in a barn for months without food or water, even if I am of sound mind, it’s fine. I don’t need to phone the Humane Society before real pain and suffering set in, as long as I cooperate with authorities after these creatures are found and saved (or destroyed).
Even though society’s ideas of law and order will not apply to me, I just wonder how in the world I am going to sleep at night.
