Selleck, who starred for years in “Magnum P.I.,” says he is ignoring a lot of friendly advice and returning to television full time to star in a new situation comedy, “The Closer,” for CBS. In an interview with TV Guide, Selleck, who is 52, said that the terms of the agreement with the network included lots of money and a movie deal.
