A display model has opened for viewing at Tandem Lofts at Bicycle Station, a $9 million development at 1631 S. Michigan Ave. in Chicago’s South Loop that will feature 58 lofts priced from $114,900 to $219,900.

The two-bedroom, two-bath “C” model, designed by Chicago-based Mary Cook & Associates, features hardwood floors, exposed brick walls and 12- to 13-foot ceilings.

The model, a corner unit, also has south and west views through 30- by-10-foot windows throughout the living room, dining room and kitchen.

Upgrades include a granite island in the kitchen, granite fireplace surround, granite entry foyer and oak floors.

Standard features at Tandem Lofts include ceramic tile floor, track lighting, six-foot soaking tub, designer cabinetry and ceramic tile floor and tub surround in baths.

Units at Tandem Lofts have one or two bedrooms and range from about 700 to 1,400 square feet.

In addition to the classic loft residences in the vintage section of the 1920s building, the top three floors of the building will feature newly constructed units with private terraces.

The building will have indoor heated parking for 42 cars on the ground floor and about 3,500 square feet of commercial space. Another 18 outdoor parking spaces are planned.

Residences also have bicycle storage, individual storage lockers, washer/dryer hookup and smoke detectors.

– Focus Development has opened a decorated display model at 811 Chicago Avenue Residences, an eight-story condominium building in downtown Evanston to include 62 one- to three-bedroom units.

Priced from $160,080, Unit C features two bedrooms, including a master bedroom with walk-in closet and bath, kitchen with breakfast bar, living room with fireplace, dining room, laundry area, and balcony with wrought iron railing.

The development features 10 floor plans ranging from 698 to 1,963 square feet and priced from $99,700 to $305,450.

Building amenities include two high-speed elevators, intercom and security systems, basement storage, and indoor or outdoor parking.

– Sales are under way in the final phase of development at Harbor Ridge and two new floor plans have been introduced. Harbor Ridge is a North Shore Development community of 213 single-family homes in far north suburban Zion.

The five floor plns–including the new Essex and Newport plans– have three or four bedrooms, 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths, and are priced from $119,990 to $162,990, including quarter of an acre lots.

The three-bedroom Essex is priced from $153,900 and features a two-story foyer, 2 1/2 baths, and bay windows in the living room and kitchen.

The community is located on Kenosha Road, quarter of a mile north of Illinois Highway 173. Sales hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Tuesday.

– The Fairway Club, a community originally planned for 76 townhouses in Willow Springs, has added 6.2 acres and 27 additional townhouses to the development and opened four its display models for viewing.

Five floor plans range from 1,722 to 2,088 square feet and are priced from $236,900 to $242,900. They have two bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths with an optional third bedroom, kitchens with breakfast nooks, basements, and attached two-car garages. Two of the plans offer first-floor master suites.

All homes include brick and cedar exteriors, central air conditioning, nine-foot, first-floor ceilings, ceramic tile in the foyers and master baths, and a 10-year warranty against major structural defects.

The Fairway Club is bordered by Flaggs Creek on the west and Edgewood Valley Country Club to the east. Six acres will be devoted to open space, including walking paths, a pond, wetlands, amd a wildflower meadow along the development’s creek.

– Four homes are available for early delivery at St. Andrews at Gregg’s Landing in Vernon Hills, a neighborhood of 112 semi-custom homes being developed by Rembrandt Homes.

Gregg’s Landing is a 1,100-acre golf course community being developed on the Cuneo estate. Most of the homes at St. Andrews will overlook the 18-hole 220-acre White Deer Run golf course.

Seven floor plans–ranch and two-story–range from 2,361 to 3,334 square feet with four to six bedrooms, 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 baths, full basements, and two or three-car garages. They are priced from $305,990 to $350,990 based on lowest price lot. Lots are priced from $90,000 to $184,000.

A Gatehouse ranch design with a garden basement, priced at $415,000, is available for 45- to 60-day delivery. The 2,361-square-foot home offers three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, two-story foyer, 10-foot ceilings throughout, living/dining room with butler’s pantry, kitchen with cooktop island, serving peninsula and pantry, breakfast nook with bay window and three-way fireplace, family room, den, master bedroom with sliding glass doors to the yard, two walk-in closets and master bath, and three-car attached garage.

Available for 30-day delivery is a two-story Stirling floor plan on a cul-de-sac lot with 2,827 square feet, wraparound front porch, and basement.

It is priced at $453,000 and includes four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, two-story foyer, formal living and dining rooms, butler’s pantry, two-story great room with 22-foot ceiling, wall of windows and fireplace/entertainment center, kitchen with center cooktop island, pantry and planning desk, breakfast nook with sliding glass doors, sun room with two walls of glass, and a two-car attached garage.

St. Andrews at Gregg’s Landing is located on Butterfield Road, 1 1/2 miles north of Town Line Road (Illinois Highway 60).
