Albert W. “Bud” Jurs, 82, of Kissimmee, Fla., formerly of Barrington, died Jan. 4 in Good Samaritan Retirement Village, Kissimmee. Mr. Jurs, who was born in Barrington, was an assistant superintendent for the Barrington Streets Department, where he worked for 20 years before retiring to Florida. He was a former member of Meadows Baptist Church, Rolling Meadows. Survivors include his wife, Dacia; two sons, Armand and Al “Butch”; a stepson, Craig Johnson; a stepdaughter, Leslie Ellis; a brother; a sister; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. until the memorial services at 8 p.m. Friday in Meadows Baptist Church, 2401 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadows.
