Bettie Napier, 78, of Des Plaines died Friday in her home. She was president of the Rosary and Altar Society at St. Stephen Church, Des Plaines, during the 1950s and 1960s. She was a secretary at St. Stephen School for more than 15 years. Survivors include her son, Thomas; and two grandsons. Mass was said Monday.
