I would like to compliment columnist Joan Beck for her wonderful Christmas message (“Age-old threat to Christianity still flourishes,” Op-Ed, Dec. 25).
She gave Christianity the credit it deserves for making this country great and contributing so much to education, art, charitable organizations and our freedoms.
Yet there are groups that want to take religion out of our country, out of our culture and heritage and make this a completely secular nation.
Why should Christians let this wonderful heritage slip away? Let the discontented move somewhere else.
