William Gresham Roberts, 64, a 27-year resident of Elk Grove Village, died Monday in Evanston Hospital. Born in the Philippines, he was a graduate of Northwestern University and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Mr. Roberts retired from United Airlines after 36 years as a tariff specialist. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; and a son, Keith. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until an 11 a.m. service Wednesday in Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd., Elk Grove Village.
