William N. Hansen, 86, of McHenry died Monday in his home. He was a carpenter and worked for Thomas Construction and Carp Construction, both of Schaumburg. Mr. Hansen was a member of Alliance Church in McHenry. A World War II veteran, he served in Patton’s 3rd Army and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; two daughters, Marsha Oberhuber and Donna Nolan; two sons, William and Glenn; a sister; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Thursday in the Alliance Church, 3815 W. Bull Valley Rd., McHenry.
