Throw in some hoops — as in hula, not b-ball — a pool cue, a back walkover, a couple of flips and a pirouette or two, and you’ve got Melissa Thodos and Dancers, Chicago’s modern-dance answer to rhythmic gymnastics. Their most recent work serves up dance as sport, and it’s coming this Friday and Saturday to the Harold Washington Library Auditorium, 400 S. State St., Plymouth Court entrance. Be there at 8 p.m. to check out the world premiere of Thodos’ “A Piece of Peace.” Call 773-404-6871.
