Stewart E. “Squeek” Beck, 86, of Delavan, Wis., died Tuesday in Williams Bay Care Center in Williams Bay, Wis. Mr. Beck had worked as a mechanic at Yates Brothers Motor Service in Harvard. He owned Beck’s Sporting Goods Store, in Harvard, from 1943 to 1954, and he worked there until his retirement in 1978. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Harvard and an avid fisherman. He is survived by a son, James; a daughter, Judith Teale; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be Friday from 9 until the 11 a.m. funeral in Saunders and McFarlin Funeral Home Ltd., 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard.
