Board of Trade Clearing Corp. President and chief executive officer John C. Hiatt announced he is resigning to pursue unspecified other interests. General counsel Dennis Dutterer has assumed Hiatt’s duties on an acting basis. A spokesman said Hiatt’s departure is unrelated to the ongoing effort to combine the Clearing Corp. with its counterpart at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, a move that would eliminate staff and executive jobs. Hiatt was unavailable for comment.
