The recent furor over the veto by the governor of the tuition tax credit as well as the plaint of reader Peter Block (Voice, Jan. 7) has prompted this tongue-in-cheek reply:
Inasmuch as I am a senior citizen who has raised three sons who never attended a public institution, I might be coaxed into a good fight to obtain a retroactive tax credit–one I would gladly accept in whatever form the state would provide.
