Bernard T. McGlone, 88, of Downers Grove, a former civic engineer with a construction company, died Friday in his daughter’s home in Madison, Wis. A native of Chicago, Mr. McGlone was a 1931 graduate of University of Notre Dame. He was a naval veteran of World War II. Survivors include two sons, James and Tom; two daughters, Mary Underwood and Margaret Donihi; and four grandchildren. The funeral will begin with a prayer service at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Adams-Winterfield and Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main St., Downers Grove, and continue with a 10 a.m. mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4824 Highland Ave., Downers Grove.
