Thanks for the insight regarding the ethnic background of our local judicial candidates (“The adopt-a-name game,” Op-Ed, Jan. 16). As a lifelong Chicago-area resident who does not usually study the plethora of information available regarding the qualifications held by the would-be judges, I am guilty of voting by my own bizarrely devised system. Your commentary has cured me of such future laziness.
