Michael Angelo Filipello, 68, died Sunday in his Lisle home. Born in Chicago, Mr. Filipello served in the Army during the Korean War. A resident of Lisle for 20 years, Mr. Filipello was a auto body repairman who also was a Pearl direct distributor of Amway Products and Services, which is a distinction afforded to very successful distributors. “My husband was a mentor to many, many people in the Amway business,” said his wife, Lynda Filipello. Other survivors include a son, Anthony; three daughters, Marsha, Tina Biancofiori and Angela Chimino; four brothers; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with a memorial service at 8 p.m. in Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle.
