Ruby Hillmann, 62, a longtime Schaumburg resident and business owner, died Saturday in Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. A 38-year resident of Schaumburg, Mrs. Hillmann helped her husband, Donald Hillmann, run their business, Hillmann Optical Service. She was the first Schaumburg resident to give birth to twins, in 1960. Survivors include her sons Bill and twins Steve and Thomas; two daughters, Lynn Kralicek and Diane Mamola; her mother, Ruby Carrier; a brother; and eight grandchildren. Services will start at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd., Streamwood.
