Cedar Road, New Lenox’s main north-south thoroughfare, is about to be refurbished.
Trustees recently approved a $46,985 engineering contract with Teng & Associates Inc. for the renovation of the Cedar Road bridge that spans Hickory Creek north of U.S. Highway 30.
On the south side of U.S. Highway 30, Cedar Road will be resurfaced, and the board awarded a $17,900 engineering contract for that project to Baxter & Woodman Inc.
