Eugene Redmond, “the poet of the blues,” whose six books of poetry celebrate African-American culture, and Ana Castillo, whose poems and novels address the problems

of Mexican families in the United States in a strong, feminist voice, will read at The Poetry Center of Chicago Wednesday in the Ballroom

of the School of the Art Institute.

The readings begin at 6 p.m.

Admission is $8, or $6 for seniors and Art Institute members. Student admission is $3.
