WGN’s decision to drop some Cubs games in 1998 in favor of “Buffy” is a slap in the face to all those long-suffering fans who have supported their team through thick and mostly thin. Only the incredibly stupid Cubs/Tribune/WGN management could make such a colossal miscalculation.
