Cropped pants and capris are definitely a seasonal thing. Take a look at the three from the right: Reserve them for beach vacations, cruise ships, weekend outings, picnics by the lake, casual dinners at sidewalk cafes. The tighter knit version on the left–reserve it for the dance club.
These looks are very ’50s and were featured on the runways by just about every designer here and abroad. Some were clingy and fitted, others crisp and comfortable. The preferred shoe to wear for crisp and casual: low-heeled mules, sandals, a flat tennis shoe; for the tighter knit version, a heeled pump works best.
