The planning commission has recommended approval of the preliminary plat and a zoning change for a proposed subdivision on 36.4 acres of property near Laraway Road.

If the recommendations are approved by the Village Board, the site’s zoning would be changed to residential.

The proposed Newbrook subdivision is on 116th Avenue north of Laraway Road. The preliminary plat provides for 60 single-family residential lots, with a minimum lot size of 15,000 square feet.
