Robert W. Kennard, 72, of Glen Ellyn, died Feb. 11 in the Illinois Veterans Home, LaSalle. Mr. Kennard owned Kennard Sales Co. until his retirement seven years ago. He served in the Philippines during World War II with the U.S. Navy Air Corps. Survivors include his wife, Mildred; a son, Jack; two daughters, Cheryl Saxton and Beverly Colwell; a brother; two sisters; and three grandchildren. A memorial reception will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday in the Kennard home in Glen Ellyn.
