Rotterdam architect Rem Koolhaas, who recently won the international competition to design the campus center at the Illinois Institute of Technology, has a way of putting a sexy spin on things. So his Thursday lecture at IIT is not dryly called “Recent Works,” but (how’s this for a wry come-on?) “Current Involvements.” If you want to know how Koolhaas has been fooling around (presumably with his buildings and urban plans), you can hear him at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium of IIT’s Hermann Hall, 3241 S. Federal St. The talk is free and open to the public. For more information, call (312) 567-3104.
