Anna L. Ledl, 91, of Wheeling, who sang for years in church choirs, died Thursday at Lexington Health Care Center of Wheeling. Mrs. Ledl was born and reared in Chicago, where she lived most of her life. At Harrison High School, she learned to sew and knit, skills she used throughout her life to make clothes for her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Ledl also was an avid quilter and gardener, and she loved to travel. She sang in the choirs at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and St. Angela Catholic Church in Chicago. For the last 16 years, she lived in Wheeling. Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Melcher and Ann Bajorek; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral prayers will be said at 9:15 a.m. Monday in Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Alphonsus Church, 411 N. Wheeling Rd., Prospect Heights.
